Season Kickoff!

Team as defined by Webster’s simply states:  A group of people constituting one side in a contest or competition/a group of people working together in a coordinated effort.


Team player is defined:  One who subordinates personal aspirations and works in a coordinated effort with other
members of a group, or team, in striving for a common goal.


Waverly Warrior Boy’s soccer TEAM kicked off their season with a Pizza Party Friday August 23 at Grand Wood Park.  Along with food and fellowship introductions of the Warrior team, parents, coaches and key booster leadership were made.  While observing as a parent of one of the players it became clear to me that while our boy’s are actually on the TEAM, it takes all of us to make the team happen.  Coach Hill and Moreno along with our boys are very grateful for all that the Boosters and parents do to make being on the team possible.
